To painful thoughts

Hey little ones
You have a voice

speak!

All will listen.

And maybe then

the echo of you

the echo of your

 pain

will turn to laughter
in the cavern of consciousness

Thoughtknots of Worry

thoughtknots of worry
stiff tight breath
tense jaw
hard staring eyes

we broadcast intentions
but thoughtknots of worry
tie up the cord of attention
and our desires
keep circling back
to
thoughtknots of worry

thoughtknots of worry
probed
untangles
this from that
now from then
here from there

smooth brow
dropping how
being now

Love Speaks

i am love speaking

anything i say
i lose

for i am the process
of becoming

clothed in the language of the
world

Love?

Love?
although
it often shines in the known
it's origin is unknown

the most noble of all quests
the questioning of love

ah!
ah!
ah!

infinite question!

which love am i?

that of the flame for the moth
or the moth for the flame?

that last-love unrequited-held fast by a window of pain-
is just desire unfulfilled
though we call it love
in our mistaken longing

like the flame whose very essence
transforms all it kisses

accepting liquid sun
shall i be

for love is me
and i burn
for thee

Red Awake

opening...like a tight rosebud
unfurling with gentle naturalness
slow abandon
without impatience
without hesitation
but red awake
savouring every second towards certain oblivion

contemplating the mystery
called you
laying down all weapons on the threshold of us

to enter naked into fiery embrace
and be transformed
from carbon flesh
to diamond light

refracted
on temple walls
.

Love! Speak of Love!

LOVE! SPEAK OF LOVE!

but not all at once
tell me slowly

-in bits and pieces-

so i can watch
worlds forming
on your soft
pink tongue
and
perhaps catch
a glimpse
of heaven-

until then,
my wings are folded,
tucked and waiting.

Static Cling

STATIC CLING

keeps pulling words
and streams
of something felt but not seen
out of me

so like an iron filing
my whole being
is
tuned
to
the
great
mystery

of attraction

sparks fly
between the poles
of
you and
die
i
die

Surfing Samsara

SURFING SAMSARA

Cupid's building
a soul
surfboard
so

he crazyglued
our hearts
together
last night.

we'll bleed
if we resist
the attachment

and who knows?

there may be
sharks
in
these
deep
waters

Us

It seems everywhere I turn, someone is in love.  Heart cracked open, pain and bliss in equal measure.

This being so, it feels time to do a run through "The Moondrops" poems, 1 per day until the cycle is done.  We'll skip the intro poems, which can be found in the book - and here are the song links.

US

only do i suffer
when i suffer
the thought of not enough

so wordless and still becomes i
for hello's and goodbye's

as two silences become one
or being one become two- full of enough
of these precious winking slices of time

seeds there planted
so that when i sit alone
love
you flower in me

Hope

To those
who have yet to pass through

and so have still to pass through
the hurt of a million honey razors

it ends
it must

Skyflower Photons

The gossamer wings of a butterfly
are more substantial than this world
held together by light

luminous skyflower photons

that are as real as they seem
as real as they seem
as real as a dream

Communion

there are many ways to go into union
not all are wrapped & rolling

 some are still

a pregnant spacefield teeming with unborn poppies

- the flowers of hope-
 of remembrance-
 of the end of war.
